Jumping ‘’by your own’’ is also possible!
Maybe have you already experienced Tandem jumping and you dream of more intense sensations ? Or maybe haven’t you done any Tandem jump but you want to take the full command of your jump ? Then, AFF jumping (Accelerated Free Fall) is your way to go. That kind of instruction is ideal to enjoy the thrill of the freefall ‘’alone’’ but in complete safety.

Alone but accompanied !
You will have your own parachute but, for sure, you will leave the plane only after a thorough and dense instruction that will start with a complete evening of theory, highlighting in details the functionality of a parachute, the safety rules you must observe, the emergency procedures you have to master and, if needed, apply and finally and the program of your first jump and the freefall positions to be adopted. After a good night sleep, we will meet in the morning for some practice and a last rehearsal on creepers and in the suspended harness.

Then, you are on your way to the altitude of 4.000 m with your parachute on your back, together with your two Instructors. The will be on your side all along the freefall, helping you to control your position and making sure that you open your parachute properly at the altitude of 1.500 m. Once your parachute is open, during the few minutes under your canopy, an Instructor on the ground will help you, by radio, to fly your canopy on the pattern and land safely on the foreseen zone.
The AFF discovery jump (Level 1) is the entry gate to the complete AFF Instruction that make you able to be autonomous in the air and progress by jumping with more experienced Skydivers.
The Equipment
For the instruction jumps we use modern dual rigs made of square main and reserve canopies. All rigs are equipped with the latest safety devices (Vigil®). Those devices, controlled by a microprocessor, permanently measure the altitude and the fall rate and activates, if needed, the reserve parachute. Jumpsuit, helmet, goggles and altimeter are loaned by Skydive Spa during the whole instruction, just bring sporting clothing and sport shoes.
Booking
Theorie course in English do not take place on a regular basis, but will be organized on request. Please note that we cannot organize a course on Saturdays or Sundays, as these are very busy jumping days for our instructors. Theory courses will always start in the evening. Please note that you will need a medical certÃficate before you can make your first jump.
If you wish to have a video of your jump, simply tell us once you are here and register for your jump.
Restrictions
> You must be at least 16 years old to take part to the AFF instruction.
For minors, legalized authorization from the parents or the persons legally in charge is requested.
> A recent Medical certificate (not older than three months) , from the family physician must be presented before taking part to the course.

Nevertheless these are important health factors :
Seizures and pregancy are absolute contra-indications.
Any serious heart condition (like a heart attack), any serious accident with fractures (spine, legs, pelvis) or a concussion will be at least one year old.
After abdominal surgery or surgery on the abdominal wall (hernia) one has to wait at least three months.
The opening of the parachute can be a little hard, we do not recommend to jump if there is a previous history of shoulder dislocation (to avoid recurrence).
Some previous medical history facts, some risk factors or diseases might need to have the opinion of a specialized doctor : anyone above 50 years old will need a cardiac exam (EKG) at the first visit and then every two years. In case of diabetis the written authorization of the endocrinologist is needed….and in any situation that the family physician feels necessary.
> For your comfort during the activity and to avoid to suffer from airsickness, we advise you to take just a light meal at least one hour before the jump.
> It is forbidden to drink any alcoholic beverage (last drink at least 12 hours before the jump).
> For security reasons, we do not allow passengers to carry their own cameras, Gopro or others.
